This section of the website is dedicated to the productions of Kairos Communications, Ltd. which utilises the media as a service to Justice, Peace and Environmental concerns.
An example: iWitness is a one minute TV programme which is broadcast daily on RTE 1 after the Late Night News.
The programmes can be viewed on www.rte.ie/tv/iwitness
iWitness is described as a spiritual documentary series portraying stories of belief, prayer, passion and meaningful experiences. Those witnessing speak from personal experience and often touch upon basic human values such as justice, peace and care for animals and the environment.
The following are examples of their iWitness programmes aired lately:
10th April 2010 – The theme of HUNGER in Zimbabwe by Irish Transition Year Students.
9th April 2010 – HIV AIDS Awareness programme through dance and in a fun way.
7th April 2010 – Children saying: “if you love your animals, they’ll love you back”.
6th April 2010 – Gathering of major religions in Ireland with President McAleese in Cork.
5th April 2010 – Rape Crisis Intervention Centre in Africa funded by Irish Aid.
