We’ve decided we’ll start at the United Nations in New York.VIVAT International runs an office in the UNITED NATIONS and has consultative status with the social and economic council of the UN. The name VIVAT is derived from the Latin verb ‘VIVERE ’ meaning ‘LIVE’. Who are these people in VIVAT? They are a group of religious people from different parts of the world who listen to the cries of the poor as far out there in the middle of nowhere as they have members from and try to bring these cries to the attention of the policy-formers and decision-makers at the United Nations.
